This page explains what personal data Studio Takaya collects through this website, why we need it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. Who is responsible
SAS Takaya Studio, registered office 42 Avenue Emile Bieckert, 06000 Nice, France (SIRET 919 256 156 00010, VAT FR86 919 256 156), is responsible for the data collected on studiotakaya.fr. For any question about your data, or to exercise the rights described below, write to takayastudio@gmail.com or call +33 6 26 87 71 87 or +33 7 88 35 03 50. Full company details are on the legal notice page.
2. What we collect
We collect only what you type into the contact form yourself:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number, if you give it;
- the type of enquiry (interior, architecture, other);
- your message;
- a voice recording, if you choose to record one instead of typing.
The voice recording is made in your browser and is sent to us only when you submit the form. Nothing is transcribed and no speech recognition service is involved — the file reaches our studio and no one else.
We do not collect any data about your browsing: there is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party script on this site.
3. Why we need it and on what legal basis
We use your data to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal for your project. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For the voice recording the basis is your consent, given by choosing to record and send it; you may withdraw it at any time by writing to us.
4. Who else sees it
Your message is delivered to the studio's mailbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail), and the website runs on a server rented from Google Cloud. These providers process the data on our behalf and under contract; they do not use it for their own purposes.
We never sell your data and never pass it to third parties for marketing.
5. How long we keep it
Correspondence about a project is kept for up to three years from our last contact with you, which is the usual retention period for commercial contacts. Voice recordings are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted. If a project goes ahead, the documents attached to the contract are kept for as long as accounting rules require.
6. Cookies
This site uses only the cookies it needs to work:
- a cookie that remembers your choice about this very banner, so that we do not ask again at every page;
- a cookie that remembers the language you selected;
- a session cookie, only if you log in to the administration area.
There are no analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics later, this page will be updated and the banner will ask for your consent before any such cookie is set.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Voice recordings are stored outside the public web directory and are not reachable by a direct link: they can be opened only by studio staff after signing in.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or object to our using it; you can also ask for it in a portable form. Write to takayastudio@gmail.com — we answer within one month.
If you believe your data is handled wrongly, you may also complain to the data protection authority of your country of residence.
